When most Shelters input an animal they are given a Health Examination, Vaccination, and put up for adoption. We input and animal give it a Health Examination, Vaccination and then put the animal in Quarantine for 30 days. We want to make sure that there are no hidden problems with the animal, either Health or Social.
Socialization is a quality that cannot be over emphasized. It is important that our animals be socialized with children, adults and other animals before adoption. Our animals are ready to travel, stay indoors, go outdoors and become a loving member of their new family. They are the healthiest, happiest and most well socialized we can deliver.
Proper Health care of all of our animals is maintained at all times. All in coming animals are examined the first time before three days after input. This care is continued throughout the time they are with us. Our animals are kept current on all vaccinations and worming. Some of our animals are either registered or can be registered and this is handled with special agreements.
All of our animals are part of our family and we treat them as such. We feel that they will learn everything that an owner will take time to teach them. Our goal is to place our animals in a loving caring and healthy environment as good as or better then they have with us.
All of our animals are either Spayed/Neutered before they leave or they are put under a contract for the procedure. The contract must be competed 60 days after adoption or before the pups is 7 months old.
Please note that we do accept companion animals in cases where the rightful owner can no longer provide proper care for their pet. We will provide assistance to responsible owners as our resources permit to help the owner find a suitable home for their pet, we also provide suggestions and contacts, to assist them to maintain custody and control of their own animal. Please remember that the health and welfare of your pet is your responsibility and opportunity. We need YOU to take care of responsibility, so WE can help the neediest of all animals — the dumped, neglected, abused and abandoned. These animals are our first responsibility.
